We will no longer offer event day walk-up registration. Online registration is still available but will close on or before August 2nd. Please keep reading below about how to receive your Grand Prix race tickets.
The event takes place on the Music City Grand Prix racetrack.
Our start-finish area is on the west side of the river at 1st and Vietnam Veterans.

DATE: August 6th, 2022
Check-in: 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM
TIME: 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM
LOCATION: Music City Grand Prix Racecourse --1st Ave South (See Map)
PACE: You will have up to 1 hour & 15 minutes to complete the two-mile course. All foot traffic must be off the racecourse by 9 AM sharp! No Exceptions -- the track is HOT with high-speed cars starting at 9:00 AM.
PARKING & STREET CLOSURES
You may park anywhere you can find street parking or parking lot availability.
There is a paid parking garage on 1st Ave near the staging area (see map above).
Please educate yourself on street closures before the event/race. All Grand Prix information can be found on the Grand Prix website.

Please note that the Grand Prix is offering shuttles from select locations. Please see their website for more information. There is also a graphic located at the end of this email.
RACETRACK BIKE | WALK | RUCK INFO
EVERYONE. You have plenty of time to enjoy your on-track experience. We will have someone in a cart following the last person/people, keeping you on schedule.
We will provide bottled water at the start/finish area.
If you walk or ride onto the course with a water bottle, you must carry it out! Please do NOT dispose of the water bottles or any other trash on the race course or toss them outside the racetrack fencing.
MILITARY RUCKING. As of now, we have clearance to wear rucksacks on the racetrack. However, if security officials decide that allowing participants to carry service packs onto the course poses a security risk, we may no longer be able to have packs on the course.
If you are planning to military ruck the course, please know that your pack is subject to search before allowing entry onto the race track.
You will not be allowed to take your packs into the Grand Prix race. They have a clear bag policy. We suggest taking your packs back to your car prior to entering the race gates.
Please note- We have no control over race course security. We will do our best to communicate via email and update our website with any changes. We will provide information and updates if any become necessary.
CYCLING. Anyone riding a bike must always wear a helmet while on the racetrack.
Please be courteous and announce your approach to walkers and military ruckers.
Grand Prix Tickets
Your registration comes with one Music City Grand Prix General Admission Ticket.
Your Grand Prix race tickets will be coming to you from us via email at the email address you used during registration. Your tickets might come in separate emails if you registered multiple people under the same email address.
All tickets are electronic through Ticketmaster. Once you receive your ticket confirmation email from us, you can quickly access tickets from the website musiccitygp.com/myaccount
Please contact Ticketmaster directly if you have ticketing questions or concerns. We do not have access to anything regarding ticketing and will not be able to help you in this area.

GRAND PRIX INFORMATION
Please note the Grand Prix is a separate event from our on-track bike, walk, and ruck. We have done our best to pass along information. However, if you have any questions regarding the Grand Prix, please visit their site or contact them directly. Grand Prix ticketing information should be directed to Ticketmaster.
The Grand Prix is cashless!! Please remember to bring your credit card if you plan on purchasing food, drinks, or merchandise once inside the race.
Please visit the Music City Grand Prix website if you have questions about the Grand Prix, parking, road closures, etc.
Grand Prix representatives will not be able to help you with your questions about our walk event, so please don't hesitate to contact us directly.
As mentioned earlier, EVERYONE entering the Grand Prix footprint is subject to security screening. You MUST have your electronic ticket to enter the race venue.
GETTING INTO THE GRAND PRIX RACE
You may use any public gate that you'd like.
However, if you are staying parked on the east side of the river -- Gate1 -- located on the Pedestrian Bridge, is your only gate from downtown. See the map below.
From our staging area, walk north on 1st Ave.
Take the stairs or elevator to access the bridge from 1st ave. Please note you can also access the bridge from 2nd ave.
The Grand Prix will have a security checkpoint set up on the bridge. This is where you'll walk through the metal detectors and have your ticket scanned. More info on clear bags, strollers, etc., is located in the last image.
